History
Kelly Blenner-Hassett, Owner/Operator, opened the doors of Hanson School of Dance in Medicine Hat in the fall of 1991. She set out to create a place where students could learn, laugh and develop a love of dance.
Her mission continues into its 21st year of inspiring hundreds of dancers of all ages. Kelly is a member of the Canadian Dance Teacher's Association Stage Division Ballet and Tap and belongs to both the Alberta and Saskatchewan Branches. A certified instructor of the A.D.A.P.T. syllabus, Kelly continues to successfully train dancers who are recognized for their outstanding abilities at a competitive level across Southern Alberta.
With a strong desire to instill in dancers basic technique, while challenging students with leading-edge choreography, HSD continues to foster an exciting dance atmosphere with limitless possibility.
