Costumes

HSD is very aware that costumes can be expensive and does its best to ensure the best quality for the most reasonable price. Even though all attempts are made to keep costs as low as possible, in past years we have found that expenses typically run between $70.00 and $150.00 per costume. Parents should be prepared to expect fees in this range.

A non-refundable deposit of $70.00 per class, per costume must be paid upon registration. Cheques may be postdated to October 15, 2010 and made payable to K.Hassett. The balance for each costume must be paid by December 2010 and each parent will receive notification of the balance owing. Students who do not pay costume deposits with registration will not be ordered a costume. Absolutely NO exceptions.

Solo, duet and trio costumes will be the responsibility of the dancers. Please do not pay a deposit - you will be advised of the cost prior to ordering.

Once costumes have been received, size adjustments may be required (i.e. hemming, taking in waist). These alterations will be the responsibility of the parent. Please refer to our Costume Instruction Sheet prior to making any adjustments.

Decisions regarding selection and style of costumes are not open to student/parent input.
